Here are some new shapes we have made patterns for and you can design around. You can lengthen, shorten, change necklines, hems, sleeves, add details and much more!
The designs are suitable for stetchy fabric but you can add non stretchy fabrics too and you can have fun choosing materials. The waistbands are all elasticated and the designs mostly suit 8 – teenagers, but look carefully on the drawing. All these designs are very easy to sew.
We have a new machine (Pfaff overlocker/Coverseamer/Flatlocker with 15 different stitch finishes) to sew up your designs and get a very professional finish. Don’t be scared by such a fancy sounding machine – we will help you! We will be holding an Easter workshop at The Atelier to show you how to use the machine and have lots of fun doing it. Experienced girls can use these designs in class.
We will be adding new shapes all the time. Next up is Lily’s sleeveless Biker Jacket shape! We will shortly be posting the bustier dress from last term . This design is currently being used at The Fashion School at Lancing Prep.
